Junior Marketing Executive

As Junior Marketing Executive you will help deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns in both B2B and B2C environments. Main duties include:

Email Marketing:
* Support Marketing Campaign Executive with production and delivery of marketing emails including:
o Consumer
 Monthly newsletters
 Competitions
 Surveys
o Dealer:
 Monthly newsletters
 Product updates
 Press releases
* Produce monthly reporting to highlight effectiveness of above activity and identify areas of improvement for testing
* Monitor delivery of transactional emails and sender reputation, pro-actively identifying soft/hard bounces and working with sales team to resolve root causes
* Help define and implement and manage ‘welcome journeys’ and triggered emails based on consumer activity
* Work with CRM Manager and Head of Privacy to ensure GDPR compliance including responding quickly to consumer privacy, deletion and unsubscribe request handling

Digital Marketing:
* Monitor Trustpilot reviews and scores for the company, highlighting opportunities to resolve disputes and improve service, communicating directly with consumers where necessary
* Manage delivery and reporting of display advertising campaigns using Google DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP)
* Monitor and manage consumer interactions with social channels including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Linkedin
* Monitor the integrity of response data through identification of “non-human” activity

Trade Marketing:
* Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing materials and merchandise to support sales team
* Help define and execute promotional campaigns hosted by the marketing department
* Provide support for external marketing events and exhibitions as required
* Support the business intelligence team to produce individual sales match reports to demonstrate advertising effectiveness.

Technical

  • Previous experience working with email provider software such as Communicator, DotMailer etc. an advantage
  • Understanding of email marketing performance drivers, optimisation techniques and data protection (GDPR) laws an advantage
  • Strong presentation skills and advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office – especially Excel and PowerPoint essential
  • Experience of the Google technology stack (Google Analytics, Doubleclick for Publishers, Doubleclick search etc.) an advantage
  • Ability to use Adobe Photoshop/InDesign an advantage
  • Good academic background (preferably degree educated)
  • A demonstrable interest in marketing and the internet in general
