The Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) came into effect on October 1st, 2011.
Compliance with the Agency Workers Regulations is the joint responsibility of the agency (e.g. Paterson Recruitment) and the Hirer (the establishment using the Agency Worker).
The Paterson Group has invested heavily in software designed to give us the ability to inform employers when workers reach the 12-week qualifying period. In order to do this, it is important that we receive the required information as soon as possible, if we haven’t already.
You can download our AWR Request for Information Form below, which should be completed for each grade and job role you employ and returned to your local branch at your earliest convenience.
Please also see below a link to some further information which explains AWR and associated requirements, which we hope will be of use.
If you have any queries regarding compliance with AWR, we strongly advise you to seek guidance from your HR or Workforce Planning Department or an employment lawyer.
