Established in 1972, Paterson Recruitment was set up with a clear vision in mind. Our mission is to provide a professional, friendly and overall, reliable service for those looking for work and companies looking for staff. Our pre interview vetting process ensures that no time is wasted making us a highly efficient employment solution. We fundamentally believe that recruitment is a “people business” and without that human element there can be no guarantees that the right candidates will be put forward for the right posts and vice versa. Our multi-disciplined staff work to a client and candidate charter to ensure a consistent and reliable service for all no matter what the position or requirement is (see “Our Principles” below). Every candidate will undertake a face-to-face meeting with one of our specialist advisors and we will be on hand to deliver induction training or simply to make sure the candidate has a friendly face to greet them when starting a new job.
Our track record speaks for itself with many delighted clients and candidates who demonstrate their delight with our services by remaining loyal to us for many years. Our innovative systems and processes are designed to improve and build on our reputation for offering an efficient, professional yet personable service, which is why we are often able to exceed the needs of both our clients and candidates.
Our use of social media has helped us to improve efficiency even further and allows us to immediately message our considerable database when unexpected opportunities arise. However, our robust registration and vetting criteria must still be carried out.
We have accredited membership to the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) ensuring that our working practices are kept up to date and of a high standard. Regular auditing of our operating practices shows time and again that our thinking is completely in line with that of this significant industry body. Alongside this crucial accolade we also hold a Gangmasters License. This mandatory license enables us to place and manage workers in the Agriculture, Horticulture and Shellfish industries.
Paterson recruitment abides by the standards set out by the REC, which signifies to all of our Clients that we are easier to do business with.
Our Policy, which concerns our own organisation and the client organisations for whom we are involved in recruiting staff, is to ensure that the operation of the business continually strives to meet the requirements all the employment Acts.
These Acts are available to all staff and new members of staff receive instructions in the implication of these and other relevant legislation. All staff will assist and encourage clients to comply with legislation and pursue practices of equal opportunity, although clients are responsible for satisfying themselves that these Acts have been complied with in relations to their own organisations.
As a member of the REC you can be reassured that:
- Paterson Recruitment is dedicated to professional standards within recruitment
